Friday, June 8 - Last day

It is hard to believe that the program came to end today.

All students attended the completion ceremony with Yukata on.

After the ceremony, the farewell party was held at the cafe called "Cabin".
All students gave a short speech in Japanese. Most of them prepared notes but some have got lost it. However, those who did not read notes gave very beautiful speeches!
I am so glad to see their progress in speaking in Japanese.

RAs (Residence Assistants) - Honoka, You, Debon and Shota helped our students to have comfortable times in Japan.

I really appreciate their hard work to help me running this program!
I also appreciate supports from staffs of Senshu University.

Doomo arigato gozaimashita!

Thursday, June 7 - Kabuki and Final Banquet

We went to see Kabuki.

After Kabuki, we went to Intercontinental Hotel for dinner.

This is the restaurant we had dinner.

The restaurant was located near the Harumi Pier.

Wednesday, June 6 - Final exams

Students had Final exam today.

I did not plan anything today, and I have no photo of students.

I saw a funny ad on the train.

A pig is advertising pork....

Tuesday, June 5 - Elementary school visit

We visited Ikuta Higashi Elementary School.
We had lunch with students.

And played games with Grade 6 students.

Sweets in Japan

I went out to buy my favourite cakes to Sumo club members for thanks.
Six of students came with me and we had huge plate of sweets.

My original plan was to eat a large strawberry short cake at Cozy Corner (cake store) and buy cakes on the way home but I found that they don't have a restaurant next to the shop.

We decided to go into one of restaurants near the cake store.

Andrew had a big parfait and a large plate of something -  I don't remember exactly what he had.

😳

I thought about having a piece of small cake and a cup of coffee but somehow I ended up ordering tea and jelly - rather funny combination, but  they were very tasty!

I didn't realize that buying 30 "Giant Cream puffs" is a ridiculous idea for the Sumo Club because they are so heavy to carry. I had three large boxes of cream puffs and a bag of baked cakes. Vincent and Andrew S. helped me to deliver to the club.

ビンセント、アンドリュー、どうもありがとう!

Monday, June 4 - Presentation

Students gave presentations today.

Unfortunately, I could not see all since there were two rooms. It was great to see that many of Japanese students visited to see our students' presentations.

My mother also came to see their presentations.

One of their big events was over. Students will write Final exam on Wednesday and this program will come to end on Friday...
